King City High School had their 6-year WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) accreditation visit this week. WASC accredits all schools in California. This includes secondary schools, adult schools, and education supplementary programs. The Visiting Committee observed our classrooms, met with students and all school staff, and presented their findings from our report. On Wednesday, the Visiting Committee met with all staff to share their feedback. They came away extremely impressed with our students, staff, and the school culture. They validated our findings in the report, including our areas for growth. In the next few months, the WASC Commission will confirm the Visiting Committee’s report and share the six-year accreditation term for our school. Overall, it was a tremendous visit. We are proud of our Mustang students and staff.
